Ralph Lauren Men's Polo Ski Wool-Blend Sweater
This chunky-knit sweater pays homage to the Polo Ski collections of the early 1990s, a period that has assumed near-mythical status among collectors. An intarsia-knit skier graphic and the inscription "Polo Ski 92" dominate the centre front. Each colour section is worked from a separate bobbin of yarn.
The blend of eighty-seven percent wool, eleven percent nylon, one percent alpaca hair, and one percent other fibres produces substantial weight. The construction maintains the resilience needed to hold the intarsia pattern without distortion. Rib-knit cuffs and hem frame the regular-fit body.
Pair with dark denim and a shearling-collared ranch jacket to channel the alpine Americana that defined the era.
